The 2026 Member-Guest was a fantastic success. The weather was perfect and there were 50 teams participating (the most players in years). The weekend began on Friday night with a social followed by the auctioning of the teams. Tee times on Saturday began at 8:30am with golfers playing better ball format with adjusted handicaps. Meanwhile, the ladies had a Mahjong & Mimosas Mahjong tournament beginning at 10:30am. There were 15 participants with Lisa Turlington taking home top honors.
The highlight of any Member-Guest weekend is the dinner/dance on Saturday night. A prime rib dinner was prepared by John Gilmore and it was great. Music for the dance was provided by Spare Change making the evening most enjoyable.
Sunday’s format with two-person Superball. The weather was beautiful with a bit of wind. The winning team in the championship flight was John Larkin Spell & his partner Woody Clay. Congratulations to all the flight winners.
Mark your calendar for the 2027 Member-Guest. It promises to be a “can’t miss” weekend.
