On May 1 Bryan Griffin scored a double eagle 2 (albatross) on hole 13 at Coharie. The double eagle is the rarest of all achievements in golf. According to Dean Knuth of the USGA the odds of getting an albatross are one million to 1. For reference the odds of a hole-in-one are 12,500 to 1.
