Hole in One for Rick Reece!!

Rick Reece had his fifth career Hole-In-One on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Rick was playing the par 3, sixth hole with Bettie Williams from the gold tees. Rick hit his trusty 11-wood from 148 yards. Rick has had three hole-in-ones from the white tees and they were on holes four, six, and fifteen. He also made a hole-in-one while playing the third hole at Lakewood Country club, back in the day when Dutch Leonard was the golf pro. Rick goal is to "ace" all the par threes at Coharie, so look out hole ten. Great Job Rick!

Due to our active search for a new Chef, the Lounge lunch menu will vary next week. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday a limited lunch will be offered, and on Wednesday and Friday our full lunch menu will be offered with no specials. 2013 Coharie Days of Summer
Registration for Coharie Days of Summer has begun. The day camps will take place from Monday, July 29th through Friday, August 2nd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The camp is open to Coharie children, grandchildren, and their guests ages 5-12. The costs for members is $75 and $100 for guests. Children will have the opportunity to learn golf from Dickie Walters, tennis from Heather Waters, and swimming from the Coharie lifeguards. Rain or shine we look forward to seeing your children. The registration deadline is July 15th and is on a first come first serve basis due to limited space. For more information or if you have any questions please contact Amanda Kornegay. Shag Club Social
Coharie Country Club is proud to announce that we will be hosting the SamCo Shag Club socials once a month. The SamCo Shag Club is a new organization created to unite Sampson County Shaggers for a great time, close to home. The next social will be in May..

Twilight League
Twilight begins on May 7 at 5:45 pm. The entry fee for the season is $75.00 per couple and cart fees are paid each week. To sign up, contact the pro shop and have one of the staff members put you on the list. There will be a different format each week and competitors will play with a different couple. All pairings will be made weekly by the pro shop staff and announced on Tuesday afternoons by 2:00 pm. Please call the pro shop each Tuesday by 12:00 pm if you cannot play that day. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you are playing that evening. As a reminder, we will not be serving dinner on Tuesday. We invite you to bring a light hor d’oeuvre to share with the group.
